Here are a few of my favorites from sessions the last couple months!  Many, many more that I need to blog. It's been a full beginning of the summer, Including a road trip to Texas, several weddings and families.  We got to spend time with cousins we don't see often enough, and celebrate families growing. I'm excited for the rest of the summer!

My adorable nephew! This image is from May. At the end of June, he pulled a rice cooker full of boiling rice onto himself. He received second and third degree burns to his face and torso.  His face is healing really well, and they hope for minimal scarring. Today he is having surgery to put a skin graft on his lower back.  He could use prayers for a swift recovery.

I attended my first surrogate birth in June (I will make a full blog post soon!)- The parents were unable to be at the birth in time, but going back to capture the first moment they met their son was one of the highlights of my birth photography career.

‘Impressions‘ is a creative project by an eclectic group of female photographers from around the globe. We aim to share the inspiration behind what we do through our bi-monthly posts.

Every other month, we will be sharing 8 images that tell the story of what inspired us in the previous weeks: our families, nature, weather, or maybe even work itself! We are free to explore the meaning of ‘impressions’, and it is likely to change month to month.
